Terms of use

What the service is, how you may use it, what a report means, and what we promise and do not.

Updated 15 September 2026

The agreement

These terms apply to your use of AI Visibility at this site, operated by the business operating AI Visibility ("we"). Using the site means you accept them. If you are using it for a business, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf.

What the service is

A free check that puts buyer questions about a website's category to AI answer engines and reports how often, and how, the engines name that website and its competitors; a PDF report of the result; free single-purpose tools that inspect a site's public files; and paid monthly plans, described on the site, that are agreed separately in writing before any charge.

Everything the check reads is public: the pages of the website you enter and the answers the engines give to anyone who asks. It creates nothing private about the site and accesses nothing that is not already on the open web.

Using the check

  • You may check any website whose pages are public. You need no permission from its owner; the result is a measurement of public answers.
  • One new check per visitor per day, and each website is checked at most once in the rescan window; asking again returns the existing report. These limits exist because every check costs us money, and they are not negotiable through automation.
  • You may not use scripts, multiple addresses or other means to exceed those limits, to run the free tools at volume, or to load the service beyond ordinary use. We block addresses that do, and may refuse service to them permanently.
  • You may not use the service to harass, defame or unlawfully target a business or person, or to build a competing dataset from our results.
  • You may not attempt to reach parts of the site that are not public, including the operator's screens and the API.

The email you give

Opening a PDF requires a work email address and your agreement that we may contact you about the report. You must give an address you are entitled to use. We use it as the privacy policy describes and you can withdraw the agreement by replying to any message.

The report and what it means

A report is a snapshot: the answers the engines gave to our questions at the time of the check. Engines change their answers, and a check on another day, or with other questions, can differ. The scores are our own heuristics, built from recorded answers as the site describes, and are not a statement by any engine, any analyst or any search engine about the website.

The report is yours to keep, share and quote. The layout, the method and the text of the site are ours. You may not resell reports, present them as your own product, or remove the attribution on them.

The free tools

The tools fetch public files from the domain you enter and describe what they find. They are provided as they are, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and their findings are our reading of a file, not a guarantee about how any engine treats it.

Plans and payment

Prices shown on the site are in US dollars per month and are indicative. A plan starts only when we have agreed its scope, price and start date with you in writing, and those written terms govern the plan. Nothing on the site obliges us to accept a plan request, and nothing on it commits you to one until you have agreed in writing.

No guarantee of results

We do not control any AI engine, search engine or third-party site, and we make no promise that a check, a report, a tool or a plan will change how any of them treats a website. Visibility in AI answers depends on factors outside anyone's control, including the engines' own changes. The service is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data arising from the site, a report or a tool, and our total liability to you for anything arising from the free service is limited to one hundred US dollars. Liability under a paid plan is set in that plan's written terms. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Availability and changes

We may change, pause or withdraw any part of the free service at any time, including the daily limits, the engines used and the report's contents. We try to keep the site up and do not promise to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where the operator is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
